Aberdeen-based Specialist Equipment Solutions (SES)*, has launched under a new brand name. Originally part of James Scott Engineering, established in 1909, the company boasts some 100 years of experience in providing reliable, high-quality electrical, instrumentation and mechanical installation solutions.
Providers of equipment rental to the oil & gas industry, SES will continue to focus on high quality and specification tools, tailored to suit individual project requirements, It will also provide a consultancy service with a view to reducing overall costs, increasing efficiency and safety for its customers.
Headquartered in Altens, Aberdeen, and with an additional facility in Great Yarmouth, SES has a number of laboratories for testing offshore equipment, as well as the repair and calibration of electrical, temperature and pressure test equipment to United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS) and national standards.
The company currently employs 50 members of staff across its two locations, with approximately 20,000 stock items held and 1000 different types of equipment.
